Recreational vehicles, or RVs, can come in all shapes and sizes as well as makes and models. LMBF helps you find RV insurance tailored to your exact recreational vehicle, how you use it (and how often), and more. RV insurance provides you with insurance in addition to the basic mandatory coverage (civil liability) that is offered under the Quebec Automobile Insurance Act, covering your vehicle from common perils like fire, flooding, vandalism, and theft. RV Insurance Solutions: What it Covers
Liability
The Quebec Automobile Insurance Act mandates at least $50,000 worth of civil liability coverage, which can protect you against liability claims if you are held responsible for the injury or property damage of another party, but it is highly recommended you extend this amount to around $1,000,000 or $2,000,000 liability.
Comprehensive & Collision
Comprehensive and collision coverage are optional to purchase, just as they are with any vehicle insurance, but can come in great help if your vehicle is damaged or destroyed due to a collision with another vehicle or object or if it is damaged or destroyed as a result of a storm, fire, vandalism, or even theft.
Accident Benefits
This coverage included with your standard RV insurance offers compensation for rehabilitative treatments and medical costs in the event of your unexpected injury, as well as any additional loss of income or funeral costs as a result of disability or death due to an insured accident.

Do I need RV insurance?
Civil liability insurance is required for all RVs in Quebec. Provincial government mandates a minimum of at least $50,000 in civil liability insurance for all RVs, which covers you in Canada and in the United States. However, other coverage is optional. That being said, it is highly recommended you carry other coverages - like comprehensive, collision/upset, etc. to cover your recreational vehicle from potential damages.
